Hey Everyone!

We wanted to check in with you today to let y'all know that our printer has informed us of another production delay. We've been told that the fabric used for the case exteriors is currently on backorder. They are sourcing more of the material, but this delay is unfortunately going to push the print run out a bit. According to our printer, they estimate that the full run will be completed and shipped from their facility by mid-July.

Until then, we'll be checking with our printer every couple of days for any updates. As we get them, we'll let y'all know!

It's been a bit of a bumpy ride, and we're really sorry about all that. But we really appreciate y'all hanging in there with us!

Proofs Have FINALLY Arrived!

Hey Everyone!

Super exciting news!! In spite of the various issues we've run into with this campaign (our printer being out of commission for a month, shipping delays, miscellaneous printing errors needing to be redone, etc.), we FINALLY received the proofs for Shades of Magic! They only just arrived on our doorstep, and we knew we had to share them ASAP. Take a look!

Case Finishing

In addition to all that, we actually got two different versions of these proofs to test two different methods of finishing on the case, which shows Kell's silhouette in either UV gloss or Clear Foil! The differences are subtle, but we wound up going with the clear foil. To us, it feels more cohesive and premium when compared to the rest of the book.

Check out the pictures below! Keep in mind that they don't do the sheen exact justice, with the UV gloss having a raised feel and presence we didn't like compared to the simplicity of the clear foil!

And with all that said, we'll be moving on to printing! There is a small queue ahead of us, but once we get word on an estimated ship date, we'll let y'all know!

Physical Proofs Expected to Ship Soon

Hi Everyone!

We've just got word from our printer that the physical proofs of the books should be shipping out later this week! Once we have them in hand, we'll be sure to take some pictures and share them with everyone.

Once we get those and approve those, the full print run can get started, so we're not too far from getting this wrapped up! Stay tuned!

We have a cool little update for you today, and one that we've never been able to share before on any prior campaigns. Usually we see the foil gilding when the physical proofs arrive, but we were able to get a sneak peek ahead of time, and wow, that red color y'all voted on really looks incredible! Take a look!
